Soja Brasil e o Complexo Intermodal em Rondonópolis

Nesta segunda-feira a equipe que faz parte da Expedição Soja Brasil esteve durante a manhã em Alto Garças e fez um balanço da produção de sementes. O município, localizado no sul de Mato Grosso responde por aproximadamente 50% de toda a produção de sementes do Estado. A chuva na colheita prejudicou a qualidade das sementes para esta safra e alguns diminuíram a produção, mas os sementeiros acreditam que para a próxima temporada será muito melhor. Mas na região um dos maiores desafios é conseguir preços mais atrativos e que sejam condizentes com a proximidade de 40 km do terminal ferroviário de Alto Araguaia.

No final do dia, a expedição passou por Rondonópolis, também no sul do Estado. A equipe esteve no Complexo Intermodal Rondonópolis (CIR) e constatou que os desafios ainda são grandes. A expectativa é que seja escoados pelo terminal cerca de 15 milhões de toneladas de grãos. Ainda em construção, o movimento de caminhões e pequeno e tende a piorar quando o terminal estiver em pleno funcionamento e mais caminhões passem a trafegar pela BR-163 até o complexo.
